Love buffalo chicken and milkshakes? Try out Robert Bishop’s 30 Rock-inspired creation and see an unholy alliance of ice cream and tomato sauce. Clearly Mr. Bishop does not read the bible as Jesus would definitely frown upon such a creation.

There are horrible things in this world: genocide, poverty, Bob Dylan songs, etc… But when someone takes these horrible things and magnifies them - nay - gives YOU instructions on how to magnify them, it should be noted. Such was the case when Robert Bishop of the Lunch Blog KC saw a sign on 30 Rock advertising the “Buffalo Chicken Shake” and he thought exactly what any rational person would think: I need to make that.

And so we brought 30 Rock writer, Tracey Wigfield, in to watch him make it and, despite her better judgement, actually taste the thing. The results are above.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I helped create these spots for 30 Rock with the marketing agency I work for.

30 Rock is one of the best shows on television. Not since Arrested Development has a show been able to straddle the immensely separate lines of intelligent and stupid humor. The bad news is, you can’t watch new episodes of 30 Rock until January. The good news is, you can catch up on the episodes you missed on WGN America. And to get you in the mood (and hopefully laughing) check out the promo videos we created for 30 Rock on WGN America here:

Attention All 30 Rock SuperFans!

There aren’t too many shows on television that can match the wit, intelligence, and excellent writing of 30 Rock. And unless you have access to Tina Fey’s secret vault of upcoming 30 Rock episodes, no new shows will air this fall. However, you can get caught up on 30 Rock reruns on WGN America.

Before you do that, (prepare for a shameless plug) check out this Facebook page I helped create to promote the show on WGN America. Play games, learn some trivia, and help starving children in Vancouver.

Having been to the AXE Lounge in Southampton (read about that adventure here), I can attest to its greatness.  But the knowledge that the beautiful Katrina Bowden from 30 Rock was at the club last weekend, may have elevated the club to stratospheric proportions.

My list of celebrities I’d break up with my girlfriend for is currently two people long.  And because of that whole “remain 500 yards away at all times” thing that Charlize Theron threw down on me a few years ago, Katrina Bowden is really the only person on the list.  As the aloof Cerie on 30 Rock, I lied to my girlfriend and told her I watched the show for the witty banter and clever plot devices.  But, in truth, it was always for a weekly fix of Katrina Bowden as Cerie.

I haven’t seen too many interviews with Ms. Bowden, but in the one above, she comes off as down-to-Earth, nice, and very un-aloof.
