Love buffalo chicken and milkshakes? Try out Robert Bishop’s 30 Rock-inspired creation and see an unholy alliance of ice cream and tomato sauce. Clearly Mr. Bishop does not read the bible as Jesus would definitely frown upon such a creation.
There are horrible things in this world: genocide, poverty, Bob Dylan songs, etc… But when someone takes these horrible things and magnifies them - nay - gives YOU instructions on how to magnify them, it should be noted. Such was the case when Robert Bishop of the Lunch Blog KC saw a sign on 30 Rock advertising the “Buffalo Chicken Shake” and he thought exactly what any rational person would think: I need to make that.
And so we brought 30 Rock writer, Tracey Wigfield, in to watch him make it and, despite her better judgement, actually taste the thing. The results are above.
This is the longest 3 Chords & the Truth we’ve ever done… but we actually provide a service in this episode. Mateo and Tracy from Cooking on the Terrace teach us how to create homemade pasta. I consume an entire bottle of red wine, and Johnny gets made at a poorly-placed Facts of Life reference.
